Senior Pictures!!

Senior year at last!! I cannot wait to get out of high school and on to the beginning of my life. There is a tradition at my high school that we go and get some good pictures taken at the beginning of our senior year. My beautiful and talented sister took mine last Thursday. Well one of these pictures I get to choose to put into the yearbook above a senior quote. It is the first step of many in taking that leap out into the real world and on to the beginning of my life.
This one so far is my favorite. I think that I might put this one into the yearbook, but I'm not sure yet...
I love the windblown look of my hair! Haha. IDK I just like it...

There is a beautiful pathway behind me that makes me think about that poem about choosing the road less traveled...beautiful and thought provoking...It's art!

My sister doesn't like the whole 'looking away from the camera' thing, but I find it cute!

Prom 2009

So, I know that I should have gotten these up a long long time ago, but still, better late than never right? Prom 2009 baby! I was asked by Edward Alston, a senior at my school. We were in the musical together and we had a blast at the dance! I twirled around and around and I couldn't help but feel like a princess!!
I am still wondering what I was thinking about in this picture to make that face. I believe that it had something to do with a boy ;)

And a picture of just my dress. I love this dress! I still have it, but I have no idea what to do with it now, so if anyone ever needs a poofy pink prom dress, give me a call!!

~Dragonfly~

So I was sitting in my sister's backyard, talking on the phone, and I look up to see this. At first I thought that it was fake, because it was so big and shiny. Well as I kept talking on the phone and looking at it, I realized that it was real! I ran inside immediately and got my sister outside with her camera! This thing was about four inches long!! It's blue, red, and silver. Oh my goodness it was gorgeous!

Las Vegas

This year for the 4th of July, my brother, Jacob, and I got to fly to Las Vegas, Nevada to visit our dad, Kent Egbert, for the weekend. We took off in our plane Friday night at 8:45pm and landed at 8:55pm (with the time difference the flight was actually an hour and eight minutes).

Day 1

First thing that we did when we got there was eat. We searching through a number of hotels in search of food. Originally, we were looking for something a little fancier, but we settled for a fast food restraunt that was called Broadway. Because of my acting background, I loved it! That and I got to eat my favorite food, chicken and ranch! Plus fries!

Then we walked around, you know, just to site see. But it wasn't long before it was late enough that we decided to call it a night. By then it was about 3 in the morning.

Day 2

The next day, we started out the day lazy. We didn't even get moving until around ten or eleven in the morning. All we did was eat a breakfast that my dad called a "regular breakfast". I would have called it the American Breakfast. My dad made a big deal over the first day's breakfast.

When we finally did get going it was about 2 in the afternoon. First thing we did was find lunch. (A lot of this vacation was eating.) Then we went to the Mandalay Bay Shark Reef. We got to see sharks and fish...and more fish. It was interesting, to say the least. Something that I would see again.

Then we walked around the different hotels and saw somet things that were there to see. That night, for dinner, we ate at the Hard Rock Cafe. I had chicken and macaroni and cheese. Very delicious!

Day 3

We didn't do too much that day, but instead we just visited a lot of tourist shops and different tourist traps. I got a good collection of Las Vegas key chains out of it! Haha. Oh! And my brother and I went to see the new Transformers movie for the second time. I think that it was better than the first time that I saw it.

Day 4

We woke up late and hung around the apartment all morning. It was about two when we left to go get lunch at Popeyes. When we finally got to the airport it was 4 in the afternoon, forty minutes from when our plane was schedueled to take off. So Jacob and I walked around the shops that were in the airport. Then we find out that our plane is delayed. Come to find out later that it would be delayed for two hours. It was nice to be home though. We left Nevada at 6:45pm and got to Idaho Falls at 9:45pm. Oh, it was so good to be home!! But I do have to say that I had fun and would like to do it again.

Optimus Prime took over the Luxor!!
Hard Rock Cafe was delicious! It's rockin'!

M&Ms the size of cars! Yay for M&Ms!

I want to call him Mufasa, but that's not really his name.
MGM Grand is his home.

A random headless statue that was covered with fake bird crap....
Of course I took a picture!!
